Someone please tell Lebron James to get over himself. After over a month of constant coverage and debate, Lebron has asked ESPN for an hour-long live special during which he will announce where he will go next season. This is absurd.
I'm not going to take anything away from him. He's even donating all of the money made from advertisements to the Boys and Girls Club of America. He's an incredible athlete and a phenomenal basketball player, but really? What kind of monster have we created? This is unprecedented. An hour-long Lebron fest? ...maybe we shouldn't have called him King James. I don't care much about where he goes, but for the sake of Cleveland, I do hope he chooses to stay there. The Cavaliers aren't the only ones that need him. The entire city of Cleveland needs him. He is crucial to the city's economy...which is bizarre to imagine.
In other sports news, Joey Votto wasn't named to the NL All-Star team. Say what? He has consistently been in the top of the league and he is currently the pride and joy of the Reds...and it blows my mind that he didn't make the team. Let's go, final vote!
Enough for now. Oh yeah - I miss football.
