Save the strange behavior for the kids with dirty drawers.

Despite the excruciating boredom I faced during the week, I had an eventful weekend.

Friday, I went to Devon and Alex's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful - a nice ceremony followed by a fun and intimate reception. The place was decorated beautifully, the music and the food were good, a lot of people I love were there, and I could not be happier for Devon. She has been a wonderful friend to me the last few years and I wish her all the best in her marriage and her new life in New Orleans! ...and hopefully, a couple future visits to the Big Easy for me... ;)

Saturday, Jenn, TJ, Sib, and I went to the Little River Cafe in Oregonia for some drinks and some live music on the Little Miami. Little River burnt down about a year ago and the re-opening was last weekend. The place is awesome. I couldn't believe how packed it was and the atmosphere (and the music) was great. I foresee us spending a lot of time down there...

Today, I went to the Reds game against the Colorado Rockies with Jenn, her dad, and her aunt. Although the Reds lost (1-0), it's always fun to go downtown for the games. There isn't a bad seat in Great American Ballpark and I love seeing Joey Votto...even if it's from section 414. After the game, we went to El Rancho Grande for some delicious Mexican food. No complaints there.

My parents got home today from Florida. It's about time. I missed them terribly - life is so boring without them here.

Lately, I've been struggling with something. I'm in a situation where I know I'm right in an argument. I don't want to hold a petty grudge, but I also don't want immature and unfair behavior to be overlooked and forgiven. I'm tired of being walked on, so question: Where do you draw the line between expecting an apology (that may not come) and forgiving someone (who doesn't really deserve to be forgiven)? Loaded.

Finally, From Dusk Til Dawn is perhaps the most absurd vampire movie I've ever seen...and this is coming from a huge fan of George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino. Ehh...I suppose every actor is allowed to have a 'WTF?' career choice from time to time.
