The fair is a veritable smorgasbord.

It's that time of year again, my friends. The week of the coveted Warren County Fair.

Believe it or not, I can vividly remember a time when I couldn't wait for the fair to start. It meant seeing my friends every night and riding all the rides. Now, I can't walk in there without immediately feeling like I need a shower.

Nowadays, I feel obligated to go. Lebanon isn't exactly a bustling metropolis, so when something is actually happening, everyone jumps at the chance of something out-of-the-ordinary to do. This week, I stopped by the fair (for about 20 minutes) and I couldn't believe it. With the exception of those who show animals, the crowd is pretty sketchy. It is mostly a greasy clusterfuck of carnival workers, have-nots, and horny 8th graders. However, the fair does have a saving grace - the delicious fried food.
