Friday Finds

At long last! It's Friday!

Wheat and I have a low-key weekend ahead of us, which sounds terrific to me. He has his second preseason game tonight, which I'll be attending, and then we have all weekend to cuddle up on the couch, watch the Orioles, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy the rainy days.

Here are some things worth checking out before your weekend starts:

- This video of twins playing peek-a-boo with each other. Be still, my heart. The dad crept around the corner and secretly recorded them for a minute.

- I don't watch Dancing with the Stars, but when I heard that Alfonso Ribeiro finally did the Carlton dance during a recent performance, I had to see it. Totally worth it.



- This awesome website for inexpensive boutique clothes. I recently bought a mustard-colored beanie from GroopDealz and absolutely love it. I'm forcing myself to stay away from the site for a while...

- This Grantland article ranking the weirdos from the new season of American Horror Story: Freak Show. I'm a huge AHS fan and somehow, I actually convinced Wheat to give it a try this season. He must be in the Halloween spirit.

I never thought blogging would...introduce me to so many incredible people.

I know I touched on this a few days ago, but it's amazing the network that blogging has provided for me. Through this space, complete strangers have become my close friends. It's tough to explain to non-bloggers, but the relationships I've built through my blog are some of the most important to me. Reading kind words from people I've never actually met, but know so much about is such a strange, yet wonderful experience. Sometimes, you get to meet your favorite bloggers in person and that's even cooler.

I'm so grateful for the friendships I've gained through my little hobby. It might be a little different than a book club or work out class, but I still get to make new friends through a common interest.
