Thanks to the Cyclones' recent schedule, I've spent the last week at home and it's been absolutely wonderful. Aside from spending time with my family, I also got to see one of dearest friends (and former college housemates) get married on Saturday. It was an afternoon wedding with a brunch reception and it was absolutely perfect. The decorations, the music, everything was so beautiful and so fitting for her. It was nice to see and catch up with most of my housemates again (they live all over the place now). Sarah looked absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't be happier for the newlyweds.

After the wedding, Wheat and I headed to Oxford so I could show him my beloved alma mater. We walked around on campus, scoped out the new buildings, and had dinner at Mac & Joe's. Mac & Cheese Bites - HOLLA! I wish more than anything that we could have gone to the Miami hockey game, but Wheat had to work an away game that night, so we headed home early.
Sunday, my parents surprised me with an early birthday present: Bengals vs. Browns tickets! So, Wheat and I headed down to Paul Brown Stadium, camera and ponchos in hand. Aside from the downpour in the third quarter, the game was perfect. Our seats were right on the 50-yard line and the Bengals won, 41-20. We also got to witness some of the most bizarre football I've ever seen, including a deflected punt, a blocked punt for a touchdown, a forced fumble (that resulted in a touchdown) by Vontaze Burfict, and the coolest kick/interception by James Harrison. We also saw wide receiver Mohamed Sanu throw a perfect pass to Giovani Bernard. Weirdest game ever.

Just a little rainy.

Hear that Bengal growlin'...

Can I get a Who-Dey?!
We also witnessed history because the 31 points the Bengals scored in the second quarter set a new franchise record for most points scored in a quarter. Woo!
Wheat decided to stay the night and drive home on Monday morning, so we ate dinner and watched
The Walking Dead with my family - a perfect end to a wonderful weekend.
