Cincinnati fans already know what I'm about to say...
The Cincinnati Reds clinched a spot in the play-offs and won the NL Central Division title tonight with a dramatic win over the Houston Astros.
Yes, you read right. The CINCINNATI REDS are in the play-offs for the first time since 1995.
Feels good.
Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 9th, Jay Bruce hit a glorious walk-off homerun. I wish I had been there.
Of course, my hopes aren't high for the play-offs. I've been a Cincinnati sports fan for FAR too long. Either way, I'm very excited. The city, the team, and the fans needed this. Hopefully I'll make it to at least one play-off game!
...now if only the Bengals would take some pointers. ;)
