However, halfway through Sid's video, I realized something. Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are my own personal version of the Jacob vs. Edward debate. Of course, they aren't supernatural high schoolers vying for my love and affection. But, really, I cannot decide which one I like more.
So, I decided to ask my beloved readers for their opinion on this impossible question.
Sid or Geno?
Sidney Crosby
Team captain, Olympic gold medalist, Canadian, face of the NHL, speaks a bit of French, pretty vanilla (fangirl code for boring) in interviews
OR
Evgeni Malkin
Alternate captain, Conn Smythe winner, Russian, speaks English pretty well with a strong Russian accent, hilarious in interviews
So, what do you think? The outcome may determine this hockey season's first Man Meat Monday. I need your input, because if I'm Bella (and thank god I'm not - I can't stand her), I'm currently Team Sidgeni Croskin.
this is quite a question. clearly Sid would be the Edward in this situation and i was unwaveringly team Jacob from go (main reason why i could barely stand the books and refuse to relive the whole frustrating experience by watching the movies). however, in this instance i vote for my homeland hero, Sidney. i really had to ponder this at length.
ReplyDeleteBased on your description, Sid looks like the guy I'd want to have bring me flowers and then go see a chick flick with. But, Geno looks like the man I'd like to spend the night with.

Plus, Sid would definitely be Edward, and I find Edward Cullen insufferable. GENO IT IS.
Neither? AH! Don't hate me! They aren't so much my type...but if I had to pick, I think I'd choose Sid.

If it was never pointed out (and brought up ruthlessly) that Sid looks like a donkey I would have chosen him. But since that is the case, and Eric might break up with me if I vote that way, I choose Geno.
ReplyDeleteO.K. I choose Sid. Here's why: He may be vanilla but that's alright, he doesn't need to say anything. He can just sit there and look good.
ReplyDeleteAs hard as this may be for you to believe, I do not find either of them to be particularly attractive at all ;) haha, BUT based on those pictures, primarily the SECOND poster one of Sidney (ew, not the first sweaty wet hair one), I go with Sidney. Decision made. :)
