- I still feel 16. Honestly. I think my maturity maxed out as a sophomore in high school. Since I got my driver's license, nothing else has changed. I even live back at home!
- Am I really 23? Don't get me wrong - I know I'm not old...but I feel old. My sister is in college, my brother is joining the Marines. I'm a college graduate. What is going on?
- I get depressed every time I think of Justin Beiber and/or Miley Cyrus. I'm 23 and I feel like I haven't accomplished anything. I feel frozen in time, rebelling against the idea of working in retail. I don't think I'm better than that, but I want something else. Otherwise, why did I work so hard to get a degree?
At any rate, I have had the most amazing 23 years anyone could ever ask for. Although it's not the right mentality, I keep waiting for something to go wrong...because no one can be this lucky. I've had my fair share of down moments, but trust me - the positives grossly outweigh the negatives. My first 23 years have consisted of irreplaceable family and friends, love, health, amazing experiences, comfort, incredible memories, and learning opportunities.
So, my birthday wish this year is for another 23 years that can rival my first 23. I can't think of anything better.

...except for maybe these two experiencing one night in Brittsburgh.
